The Stella Maris Polytechnic is an Institution of higher learning own and operated by the Catholic Archdioces of Monrovia. With main campus situated on Capitol Hill in Monrovia the Polytechnic boasts of four colleges with over 2,500 enrollment.

The SMP will hold its 12th graduation ceremony on August 16, 2010. It is expected that over 500 students will be conferred degrees in the areas of Electronics Engineering, Architecture Engineering, Building Construction, Accounting, Economics and Heallth Sciences
