Tuition and Fees
All fees are paid in the cashier's office and a valid receipt is obtained. For those enrolled in regular college programs the tuition fees are as follows:

Grants and Scholarships

Only reputable institutions and or individuals offering scholarship/grants will be considered. For all others, the student must pay according to the payment plan and be reimbursed upon payment by benefactor.

Work Programs

The Administration of the Stella Maris Polytechnic funds this program and the number of students in this program each year is dependent upon funds available. Student must be full time throughout the academic year and maintain satisfactory academic progress and excellent conduct.

Computer Laboratory

The Computer Lab offers Basic Computer Literacy, Desktop Publishing, Database Management, Accounting Package and Programming. The Lab also offers a special network program known as CISCO Networking Program.
Special Programs are priced based on the following:

- the number of participants

- the duration of the program

- the resources required to execute the program successfully

- the number of qualified persons required for the successful implementation of the program.

 

 

Payment Terms

Registration fees are 100% down payment at the beginning of each semester.

Tuition fees are settled as follows:

- 80% at the time of registration
- 20% before midterm exams.

Note: Students who do not pay all of their tuition fees before midterm forfeit this privilege and must pay 100% of all fees before sitting in class the following semester.

- Books and Materials are paid for at the time of registration

- Graduation fees are paid before the stipulated deadline for each graduation.

- The transcript fee is paid at the time a transcript is requested.

Refund Policy

In case of complete withdrawal from the Polytechnic, tuition refund if applicable, shall be in accordance with the following schedule:

The above will normally apply only in cases where tuition is fully paid for all courses registered and for the application made within five days after the number of days required for tuition refund. Students who pay tuition under an approved installment plan must ensure to clear their financial obligation to the Polytechnic before seeking withdrawal from the Polytechnic. A student indebted to the Polytechnic will be denied authorized withdrawal, which may otherwise be granted, until the obligation is fully satisfied. Under this policy, registration fees are in no way refundable.

Withdrawal

A student in good academic standing who officially withdraws from the Polytechnic any time before final examinations in a semester shall receive no credit for courses taken, and will not be charged with failure during that semester.

For proper withdrawal, a student shall write to the head of Admissions by requesting for withdrawal and stating the reason therein. Thereafter, appropriate withdrawal application forms shall be obtained from Admissions Office and filled in accordingly. They shall be approved by the appropriate authorities at the Polytechnic.

Before seeking withdrawal, a student must be in good financial standing and must clear all other obligations. In order to re-enter the Polytechnic, the student shall apply for re-admission in writing to Admissions Office two months before the desired semester for re-entry.
