The ICT DEPARTMENT of Stella Maris Polytechnic ensures the effective protection and proper usage of the computer systems within the Institution. The ICT investment of the organization is considerable, and the dependency on computer technology in the delivery of STELLA MARIS POLYTECHNIC services is high. The ICT DEPARTMENT in conformity with its ICT Policy assist in maintaining systems at operational level; also, establish general guidelines for maintaining an end user computing environment within STELLA MARIS POLYTECHNIC that is controlled, consistent, and secure and that will enhance the productivity of end users. The ICT DEPARMENT is run by a Supervisor and corps of other officers.

Our browsing room will be open not only to Polytechnic students, but students of other colleges and High schools with ID Cards. We offered services like online research, e-mailing, scanning, photo coping and printing of documents. We are open from Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 8:00PM and on Saturdays 9:00AM to 4:30PM. CLASS HOURS AND DURATIONS

Applicants must have completed 10th grade or provide a Certificate in computer studies.
Original (and copy for our records) of highest qualification obtained.
Registration fees paid
At least 75% of the tuition paid.
Balance 25% due four weeks after classes began.
Two (2)recent passport size photos.

Networking Academy Curricula Overview
The CCNA courses, as well as all other Networking Academy curricula, are taught by trained instructors who deliver standards-based, high-quality content in specially equipped labs, where students practice hands-on exercises to apply the concepts they learn. CCNA
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), a 280-hour curriculum, is the first step in a Cisco career certification path. Particular emphasis is given to using decision-making and problem-solving techniques in the application of science, mathematics, communication and social studies concepts to solve networking problems. Students will learn how to install and configure Cisco switches and routers in multiprotocol networks using local- and wide-area networks (LANs and WANs), provide Level 1 troubleshooting service, and improve network performance and security. Additionally, instruction and training are provided in the proper care, maintenance, and use of networking

The CCNA Exploration curriculum consists of four semesters each of which has a duration of four months:

Semester2 - Routing Protocols Concepts
Semester3 - LAN Switching and Wireless
Semester4 - Accessing the WAN
